SPHERE members in step with RCD dancers for Sunday’s performance of The Greatest Showman
SPHERE members and community partners at Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance have spent the past several months preparing to bring the greatest show to Ridgefield.
This Sunday, November 6 at 4:00 pm, you are invited to The Ridgefield Playhouse for the production of The Greatest Showman.
Choreographed by Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance Executive Director, Amy Piantaggini, RCD dancers are truly in step with SPHERE members and have worked closely to bring this show to life with SPHERE President and Chairman of the Board, Lori Berisford, and the show’s director, Emily Pambianchi.
“Working with Emily Pambianchi and Lori Berisford on this show has been so much fun. I can’t wait to see the SPHERE performers light up the stage, and I’m proud of the RCD dancers for the dedication of their time every Thursday this year to support the group with several dances,” says Piantaggini.
RCD dancer and Ridgefield resident Katie Burns remarks, “I go to Ridgefield High School and am in my junior year. The past 2 years I’ve really enjoyed volunteering with SPHERE because it’s a low stress, fun, and inviting atmosphere that I look forward to being in each week.”
Katonah resident Hailey Brown will also be dancing alongside SPHERE on Sunday, “ I am a senior at John Jay High School. Working with SPHERE always brightens my day. I love walking in to see all their smiles and positive energy. Seeing everyone’s confidence and passion is inspiring to me!”

SPHERE enables its members to participate in and enjoy a dimension of life that is often missing for people with developmental, cognitive and intellectual disabilities. SPHERE’s many programs provide a safe venue for social interaction and development, skill-building, and cultural opportunities through the arts. What’s more, SPHERE connects its members to the community in an important and intimate way by partnering with our Town’s many nonprofits including the RSO and the Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance who will join SPHERE on stage.
Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance is a nonprofit dance studio located on Main Street in Ridgefield.
