Our Programs

SPHERE programs bring members together in a positive environment where each person is unique. Our members thrive from rich experiences and a strong sense of community.

Art Class

Come and make art with us on Wednesday nights! SPHERE artists work in a variety of media including drawing, painting and collage. Projects range from the creation of large-scale works of art suitable for framing, to smaller, seasonally themed cards and crafts. What remains consistent is the wide range of personal expression, style and variety that each member brings to each project!

Jewelry-Making-Sphere

Jewelry Making Program

SPHERE-It Creations meets weekly in our space at 421 Main Street to create beautiful, one of a kind pieces of jewelry and accessories.

Part of our mission is to explore and push personal limitations and boundaries and instill confidence in our artists. Working with volunteers from the community, artists realize and often surpass their own personal potential in design, technique, and overall ability. Artists make price tags for their pieces, learn how to price their work, and finally sell their product to the customer.

Monthly free jewelry-making workshops are also held in our location at 421 Main Street. Our artists teach visitors (young and old) how to make a piece of jewelry, instilling confidence in giving directions. At the same time, artists’ personal social interaction abilities also increase. We sell our pieces during these workshops and at many local craft and street fairs.

We welcome volunteer involvement to learn also! Positive social change occurs when volunteers come and work with artists’ differing abilities and as a result, build stronger communities. Volunteers bump into artists elsewhere in the community, creating a personal bond and strengthening the fabric of our town.

The next time you see our banner at a local street fair or event, feel free to come by and pay a visit just to say hello – you can be guaranteed a welcoming smile and high five!

Date – 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm
Location: 421 Main Street, Ridgefield, CT
